AP classes included: AP Environmental Science, AP European History and AP United States History, 4 on each test. My ACT score was a 28. I want to be a tutor because I am passionate about education, knowledge and the various scientific realms. I have a good understanding of geometry, algebra 1 & 2, as well as some trigonometry. I also am an avid journal keeper and love handwriting most of my work. I love working with people who are interested in, or need help getting interested in their own education. I am patient, self-motivated and feel compelled to assist aspiring students to boost their academic record and increase the amount of opportunities they may have in the future. I feel that I have many academic/life skills to offer, in the hopes that your child will have a more well rounded experience...something I know I'm lucky to have the chance to get. Throughout my time in high school, I produced bio-diesel with a reactor I helped build. I have been part of the nature mapping community that goes to various Washington state elementary schools that teach children how to test water quality and make observations that can later be used by scientists. I also have 6+ years of French under my belt and feel qualified to tutor in the subject. As for the mathematics, I had a good understanding of them in the classes I took 3+ years ago but I could brush up and easily be reminded if need be.

I am a creative, quiet student that wakes up early to tend to my cat and garden. I live with my boyfriend of 3 years and go to Evergreen where I am a diligent student and have never lost a credit. I have 10 years worth of working with children (babysitting or in an educational setting). My hobbies are reading, cooking, organizing, hiking, camping... I am frugal, thoughtful and kind. I have a heightened awareness being more of an observer, and I am very much into completion and quality.
